Hi, I’m Seth Werkheiser and I’ve been living out of a bag since August 2010, and running music blogs since 2001.

Founded Buzzgrinder back in 2001. We made enough noise and gained enough influence to be approached for acquisition, and my former editor now hosts FPK After Dark in Louisville, KY.

Founded Noisecreep for AOL Music in 2008 (left in 2011). Worked with an amazing group of writers, doing big features, top-notch video interviews, news coverage, and lots of exclusive content.

Founded Skull Toaster in October 2011 – daily heavy metal trivia on Twitter (@skulltoaster), with a community of over 390+ metalheads around the world. I set up give-aways, research, write and plan an editorial calander of metal trivia, and send out a nightly email newsletter with an open rate around 40%.

:: Oh, I also travelled by bike around the US for about a year. I biked from Brooklyn, NY across NJ and PA. Loaded my bike on a bus across Ohio, down through KY, TN, GA, AL, to New Orleans, LA, over to Austin, TX and as far west as Albuquerque, NM.
